Mariachi Love

We had an outstanding meal at the new Mexican restaurant in town. The food was absolutely delicious every bite was full of bold, authentic flavor. The lamb tacos were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the cheesy jalapeño poppers were the best I’ve ever had: crispy, spicy, and so satisfying. For dessert, the homemade ice cream and brownies were truly to die for rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Our server, Carolina, was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The overall service was excellent and added to the great vibe of the place. We can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

I'm giving a 5 star rating not only for the food and service, but it's such a pleasure to see a new restaurant that wants your business and to keep you happy. Fresh ingredients and everything made in house. Our server Carolina was a sweetie and the full restaurant kept her on her toes. The sizzling brownie was a sight to see and the smothered burrito was HUGE! For me anyway. We will be back to share the experience with more family and friends.

I had the pork enchiladas which were very tasty. The service was great and one of the owners came to our table to introduce himself and ask for feedback on our meal. As a newer restaurant understandably they’re still polishing the details but overall I’m excited to have a tasty new Mexican place in town! The homemade salsas are delicious!

Mariachi Love is definitely a welcomed addition to the St. Albert food scene! Our interaction with our server was very limited but pleasant…she was the only waitress for the entire restaurant but did a great job handling it all. The restaurant was clean and has a basic diner feel to it. The food was good and very reasonably priced! Although the flavours were good, some of the food was lukewarm, the cheesy jalapeno pops were a bit too salty and I wish they used iceberg lettuce instead of the mixed greens in the burritos….I’m sure these are just opening/growing pains of any new restaurant! I believe almost everything( including their ice cream) is made in-house. Definitely recommend the Chimichanga, fish taco and horchata. I look forward to coming back and trying the other items on the menu! Definitely excellent value for what you get!

This Mexican restaurant is truly a gem! The variety of food is impressive, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options that cater to all tastes. The nachos are a must try perfectly crisp and loaded with flavour. The birria tacos are absolutely amazing, especially when paired with their rich, flavourful lamb sauce. And don’t even think about skipping dessert,the sizzling brownie with house-made ice cream is to die for! Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine with a creative twist.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the pork enchiladas with green sauce, refried beans and cilantro lime rice. Everything was made fresh, which takes time. There's care and quality put into their food and presentation. The food was also quite flavourful. My husband ordered a selection of tacos, crispy pork belly, fish and lamb. Also well presented and flavorful. I recommend Mariach Love.

Mariachi Love did not disappoint! We were indecisive on which tacos to order from the taco bar, so we tried one of each. The vegetarian taco and fish taco were our favourites. The vegetarian taco had a smoky flavour in the beans that I could not get enough of, and the fish in the fish taco was fried to a perfect crisp with a heavenly spicy mayo sauce on top. We ordered seconds of those two because we were that impressed with the taste and quality of these tacos! We were hesitant to order dessert after eating that many tacos but I am so glad we did because the churros were mouthwatering as well. I definitely recommend coming either before or after the dinner rush- we sat down around 5:30 and the place was quiet, but by the time we left every table was full! There was only one server on the floor while we were there and he was so kind, quick, and attentive. I could see their kitchen getting slammed as the place gets busier- I am so happy to see business is booming for them as they start out, but keep this in mind and please be patient with the staff if you chose to go during peak hours! We will definitely be back- we left ourselves a note for the future that four tacos is the perfect number for a hungry grown adult :)

This is a great Mexican food place. I came here with my family for dinner and t was quite tasty. The wait for food was a bit long, but everything was delicious. Overall definitely coming back to try the other things on the menu!
